It's not as if Nike needed another great thing or person on their team. I mean Nike is one of the leaders in golf, not to mention in sports period AND they have Tiger Woods. They're not localized to just golf like Titleist. So I guess it makes sense that golf's #1, Rory McIlroy, and the #1 maker in sports paraphernalia joined forces. It will be interesting to see how Tiger & Rory share Nike's stage. You have one of the greatest golfers of all time in Tiger who is still paving the way in golf and trying to fight his way back to #1. Then you have Rory. A relatively new kid on the block, who is a favorite among the younger golf crowd and who is currently #1. I'll be honest: I like Tiger. I still want to see him win majors. The guy is amazing and has done great things for the sport. I don't know about Rory. He's been around for five years and, while he's a good golfer, he hasn't transformed golf the way Tiger did. I'm not saying he's not a good golfer because he is. And I'm not saying good things aren't yet to come. I'm just saying so far, I'm not impressed. But the $200 million Nike gave him says they are! So let's see what you got kid. But, I'm going to stick with Tiger.
